Nobe Yoga Studio in Miami Beach is offering a ‘Welcome To Yoga’ class the first weekend of July that is sure to provide you with all of the information you need to truly make yoga an integral part of your life.

Intro to Yoga Poses
In order to truly become a regular practicer of yoga, you will have to become extremely familiar with the basic poses. In our Welcome To Yoga class, you will learn a number of basic poses that will begin building the foundation for your overall practice. From mountain pose, to downward dog, to warrior and more, you will be instructed on the correct form and posture for all of yoga’s most common and widely used poses.
Relieve Stress and Anxiety
The combination of controlled breathing, meditation and physical poses all make for a very relaxing experience. Yoga is not only known to reduce the amount of stress and anxiety a person feels on a daily basis, but it is also thought to help lower both blood pressure and heart rate when it is practiced on a regular basis.
Brief History of Yoga
Our workshop will also educate you on the ins and outs of yoga’s history. Since yoga can be traced back nearly five thousand years, there is plenty of history to become familiar with. The main thing you should be familiar with is that yoga has many different meanings in Sanskrit. However, the root of the word means literally to “harness.” This is precisely what you will be doing each time you practice yoga, harnessing yourself to the earth and to your innermost peace.
When you begin to practice yoga on a regular basis you begin to discover things within yourself that you didn’t know even existed beforehand. Not only will you increase your personal discipline and heighten your intuition, but you will surely find the most gratifying inner peace that you have ever known. We will teach you how to do this as well.
